Personally, I do not think coffee maker ratings can identify the best coffee maker although I must that it can help to point you in the right direction.
We know that most of the coffee maker ratings are complied by the so called coffee experts and gurus and they are known for the reviews that they gave on coffee brewers, and some of them even have followers.
All these are what the coffee experts and gurus have as their personal views. Even we take it that they do not have any hidden agenda and that they are giving 100% of what they are thinking, it is still their thoughts. Do you want to use their thoughts or views to identify your coffee brewer?
The answer is no. If you scroll the web, there are probably hundreds if not thousands of best coffee makers out there each ranked by different gurus and experts. So, how are you going to decide which one is the best of them all?
Sure, there might be one expert whom you like alot, but are you sure that you have the same taste profile as the expert?
Currently, single serve coffee maker is the “flavor of the month”, you would definitely read about this coffee maker in any coffee maker ratings. Many consumers have also rated this brewer as their best coffee maker. Now, lets take Braun coffee maker Tassimo as an example, are they really so good that everyone can use them?
This might not be the case. Although, single serve coffee maker like Tassimo was invented to solve the coffee wastage for the general public, there remains a group of folks that require high serving’s coffee makers.
For example, if you have a large family, a single cup coffee maker might not be suitable for you. And if you are someone that host parties regularly, again, single serve coffee maker would not be suitable for you.
No doubt there are some very good coffee brewer around that are suitable for the general public but even with them, you have to choose one that can fit into your lifestyle.
That is the reason why I think coffee maker ratings and reviews might not be able to showcase a machine so accurately that can fit into everyone’s lifestyle.
So, in a way coffee maker ratings and reviews are useful to look for a cluster for machines or a genre that you think might be able to fit into your lifestyle. From there, you would have to further understand each coffee brewer to better assess if the capability of the coffee maker can add value to your lifestyle.
What I am saying is that while these reviews and ratings should not used as guide to buy your coffee maker, you can use them as reference prior to making your final decision.
