Until you pay the fee you will likely not be able to print or file the return. Most people who test out the software likely end up paying the relatively small fee to either efile their tax return or maybe print it and then file it manually. Although it is possible that the efiling option is the only one available, you will have to check out each software program to be sure. Of course that is a great way to prepare your return yourself since it is faster and less paperwork.
